| First off there is http://ogame.wikia.com. It is a very useful site where you can learn almost anything about Ogame. It acts as a normal wiki but designed for the sole purpose of Ogame. Here are some basic links;
Quick Start Guide- Get an idea as a first time player on what to build and gives some general hints and tips.
Ships - Analysis of OGame ship types including strategic benefits of each.
Defenses - Protect yourself with these defensive strategies!
Buildings - Detailed analysis of building structures with costs & times.
How to get a Moon, Jumpgate and Phalanx - A moon is special because it is the only place where the Lunar Base, the Sensor Phalanx, and the Jump Gate can be constructed. A lunar base must be built first to provide three fields for other buildings.Using the Phalanx you can scan a planet for 5,000 deuteriumIf you have more than one moon and a Jump Gate on each you can transport your entire fleet, but no resources, instantly from one to the other without using deuterium.
Player Types - This is a link that gives in-depth info into Player types such as Turtling, Fleeting, Mining.
Turtling - Uber Turtle - Turtling is the most passive way of playing
Ogame. A turtler is a player that builds up high defense. (Extra Information)
Colonization Tips - If your new to colonization or want tips to enhance your colonization experience, then check this tutorial out!
