any1 no what espionage level you need to be able to get data on players fleets and defence??

It entirely depends.

It depends on their level on espionage,
your own level.
and how many you send.

You can find out EVERYTHING about an enemy planet with a level 1 espionage research. Although you might need to send a lot out for it Razz though it is possible.

I always send out 1, then 6 if I don't get all the information I wanted.
